Syrah only with naturally occurring sulfites. A gorgeous robe made of garnet color with subtle purple reflection. Scents of fresh dark berries and plums, uncovering violet and white flowers as aeration occurs. The palate develops lush and fleshy fresh fruits, almost like a ripened dark fruits salad with fresh herbs (mint). The Viognier bring a touch of cream and exotic aromatics to make it even more quaffable! A lighter Syrah, not aged in oak barrel. A unique experience, perfect for a warm day on your patio, or a picnic. Currently only sold by CeleriersCellar.com in the USA.

Spur pruning "Cordon" done by hand for better aeration and sun exposition, vines trellised vertically on 4 wires, topping 3 to 4 times to prevent plant depletion, mechanical plowing and weeding (no synthetic product), organic manure, biodiversity by replanting trees and plants to complement and reenforce natural defenses (uses of four leaves clover), organic farming techniques. Mechanical harvest.
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. The maceration and beginning of alcoholic fermentation take place in a concrete tank to extract color and aromas from the solid parts (skin, flesh, seeds). This part of the process is done with low temperature over 4 days. Once the alcoholic fermentation is fully done, and no residual sugar is left, it is time for settling, and removing the must (solid part). This must is then pressed again to extract more aromatic, tannins, and pigments that are mixed back into the wine. All steps require Azote gas to prevent contamination and utilizing Sulfite. Vegan, only natural occurring sulfites are in this wine.

Languedoc
Around Saint-Chaptes and Uzès, the 2025 season began with a mild, well-watered winter that replenished soil reserves.
Cool March weather initially held back budbreak before warmer April and May conditions encouraged growth.
Spring rainfall supported the vines, and rising temperatures brought the growing cycle back up to speed by mid-June.
Late June brought a major heatwave, followed by a summer of strong sunshine and uneven water availability.
Another intense heatwave in mid-August increased water stress and reduced berry size across the Gard.
Ripening accelerated, although the response varied between grape varieties and individual sites.
Regional harvests began early, making the balance between sugar, acidity and skin maturity central to picking decisions.
Small berries and concentrated fruit marked the regional picture: the growing-season context for Gatigne’s 2025 Syrah.
