Heavy rains in spring, particularly May and June, led to issues with fungal diseases like mildew. Spring rains were followed by a hot and dry summer, with July and August experiencing scorching temperatures. This required extra vigilance in the vineyards to protect the grapes. Due to the delayed budburst and flowering, the harvest started a bit later than usual, around late August Despite the challenges, with careful vineyard management, Francesco and his team were able to produce a high-quality vintage.
