Spur pruning "Cordon" done by hand for better aeration and sun exposition, vines trellised vertically on 4 wires, topping 3 to 4 times to prevent plant depletion, mechanical plowing and weeding (no synthetic product), organic manure, biodiversity by replanting trees and plants to complement and reenforce natural defenses (uses of four leaves clover), organic farming techniques. Mechanical harvest.
grapes destemmed and crushed then let in a concrete tank for the fermentation with the skin to get color and aromas. Then we take off the solid part (settling) and press it to extract more colors, aromas and tannins. A part of this second juice will be added to the concrete tank containing the first juice. It is aged then in oak barrel for 3 month. All steps uses nitrogen in order to keep freshness and lower the amount of sulfites.

2020 belongs to a fantastic line of superb vintage, like 2015 through 2019. The winter 2019-2020 was warm, but the rain helped the plants replenished their reserve. March 2020 was hot and show signs of early blooming. From mid-April until mid-June, In contrast to the sun-baked days, the region experienced cool nights to help regulate the vines temperatures and retain acidity. The slightly windy weather also helped reduce fungal disease pressure, leading to excellent sanitary conditions at harvest time. After this stress free spring came an outstanding summer. It was hot and dry, and could haveturned into a lasting drought. Fortunately, two rain episode in July and August prevented the water shortage that other regions in France experienced. Since the plants and soils were loaded with water, they could sustain and make the best out of this challenging climate. Fruits reached pick maturity and a high level of concentration. A healthy, highly intense, and lush vintage: outstanding!
